Through years of dedication to aquariums and 3D printing, I’ve built this blog as a platform to share my knowledge about 3D Printing, inspire and equip enthusiasts with the knowledge to innovate their aquariums or terrariums - all under the Aquireef3D brand. With a deep fascination for blending form and function, I’ve transformed this passion into a mission to enhance aquatic spaces worldwide while sharing my insights about 3D printing.

3D Printing as Fusion of Passions

My journey began with love for aquariums, that evolved into an obsession with crafting solutions to simplify and beautify aquatic spaces. When I discovered 3D printing, it felt like unlocking a world of limitless creativity. From intricate decorations to practical tools, I’ve designed pieces that have transformed over 500 aquariums worldwide, helping enthusiasts and hobbyists alike enhance their setups.

I believe in blending functionality with aesthetics, always putting the well-being of aquatic life in priority. Each design is driven by the desire to solve real-world challenges while elevating the art of aquarium keeping. 
Looking ahead, I envision a future where 3D printing becomes an integral part of the aquarium hobby, enabling enthusiasts to customize their tanks like never before. This vision aligns with my offerings - from providing 3D print tips & tutorials with STL file collections to partnerships that bring innovative designs to life. From functional 3D print designs to unique decorations - our possibilities are endless!

Expertise That Sets Me Apart

What sets me apart is a unique blend of technical skills and artistic vision. My background includes:

• 15+ years of hands-on aquarium and 3D printing experience, solving challenges and improving functionality.
• Expertise with CNC machines, CO2 lasers, woodworking and cold metal fabrication.
• Training in art school, which sharpened my eye for detail and aesthetics, winning me multiple national contests.
• Mastery of Fusion 360 and Blender software, enabling me to create aquarium safe, durable and functional designs using PETG - a 3D printing filament, known for its strength, flexibility and resistance to water and chemicals. These qualities are essential for safe and long-lasting designs in aquarium use.

Personal Touch

Besides designing, I’ve explored diverse creative outlets like salsa dancing, woodworking and parametric furniture crafting. These experiences have shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for creating designs that balance practicality with beauty.
